31 Shades Of Awesome!

Pure Living Magazine for iPad on the iTunes App Store

Don’t you think it’s strange you get all these emails for a product launch and then you never hear how people do…

Well, we do things different around here, MagCast launched just over a month ago and get this…

31 People just like you have started a MagCast and made sales Day 1!

Before you think this is a sales letter, Stop! MagCast is closed and won’t be open for awhile. There is so much rubbish spouted in online marketing, so many things that don’t deliver

I just wanted to show you some things really do work.

At the bottom of this note, I’ve listed every magazine to prove this stuff works, it’s real, it’s life changing.

But that’s not the best bit.

As of today,

There are 74 more magazines in the Apple approval process!!!!

Let me repeat,

There are 74 more magazines in the Apple approval process!!!!

Within the next three weeks we will have created 105 new publishers.

105!!!

When have you ever, EVER, seen a course delivering so many results in just 60 days…

You see so many launches, so much hype, I just wanted to do something different and show some actual results a little over a month after our launch.

I encourage you to check out some of these magazines. Our Magcaster’s have done an amazing job in just a few weeks.

In Alphabetical Order…

So many amazing niches, after just a month. I’ve never seen anything like it since the early days of the Underachiever method.

A huge thank you to John Bass and all the MagCast team for making my gut feeling into the most successful thing I’ve ever done.

Viva la MagCast Revolution!

On Market Research And A Request For Help

Magic The Gathering

I was a tad excited when my favourite Trading Card Game of all time was released on the iPad – Magic The Gathering

It got me thinking…

Hey, MTG (That’s what us cool kids call Magic The Gathering) would make a pretty cool magazine with MagCast!

Now, the Challenge method of researching markets for online businesses has become the gold standard method.

So, I started thinking, what’s different and what’s the same about researching a magazine on Apple’s Newsstand?

One thing I know – the fundamentals of market research do not change because of the media – the places you research will change!

Onward, I busted out my timer (set to play Phil Collins iconic drum fill in “In The Air Tonight”) set it to 10 minutes and fired up iThoughts HD, my mindmapping software of choice and created the first cut of a mindmap outlining my market research strategy.

I then recorded this video to show my thinking on my first draft and also ask for your help!

I’d love to get your feedback and any suggestions you would add to the process. Pop them in the comments below and I’ll add them to the main mindmap. My intention is to shoot videos showing each step of the research process once I get your feedback.

Here are some of the links and sites I mentioned in the video (Pre-Loaded with my Magic The Gathering research)

Now I Want Your Help

What have I missed, What could I add? What order would you put this in? If you’re a Magcast Member head over to forum on the Immediate Edge (We emailed you your sign up link yesterday) and throw in your suggestions.

If you’re reading this on my blog, i’d love to get your feedback below in the comments.

If you like what I’ve written, I’d really appreciate a +1, retweet and Like. It all helps!!
