Love Getting This Type Of E-Mail (and a very special offer!)

First, read this awesome email I just received yesterday.

Then if you missed out on the MagCast $1997 unlimited offer or were hoping for a payment plan, see the bottom of this email…

Dear Ed,

Just wanted to send you a note to personal thank you for bringing us MagCastApp. It has already changed my life and will no doubt continue to do so well into the future. I am an Australian nurse who has been nursing for 25 years and have been trying to supplement my income for many years now. My goal is to be working fulltime from home so to spend more time with my wife and two sons.

I was very excited by the whole concept of self publishing and agree with your sentiment about the popularity of the iPad. I feel honored to have one of the first nursing magazines (if not the first) on the Newsstand. I hope in time to become an “influencer” as you say in my chosen profession. The magazine is only in its infancy but has been well received by all my nursing colleagues that I tell about it.

Ed you have recruited some stellar staff in John and Jane. I am constantly impressed by Jane’s replies to my many, many emails requesting help. John kept in touch via email long before I subscribed. I couldn’t afford the full price version, so I was very excited when I could sell some items around the house to raise the funds to set up my business and subscribe to MagCast. John’s step by step videos have been highly valued especially as there are a lot of steps to follow to set up the first edition.

Ed I hope to meet you one day and thank you in person for what you have done for me and my family.

Rich

Richard Williams RN Nurses fyi Magazine Bathurst Australia

This is exactly what we hoped MagCast and the Digital Publishing Blueprint would do.

We shut down the special offer last week and got a bunch of emails asking us to please accept an order.

We were also asked if we could please do a payment plan.

Good news, for 24 hours, we are doing both!

Now, if you’re going to make part payments you’ll be paying more but if you secure one of the last unlimited licences and that’s the difference between being able to do this or not…Well, we want to make it happen.

I’m not going to email you again on this. If you missed out, this is your chance.

Click here to get an unlimited licence (and a payment plan to make it easier!)

I hope you’ll join Rich in the Digital Publishing Revolution!

And you wonder why we are focus on MagCast on iOS…

Clown Magazines on tablets: publishers’ painful lessons – One Man and His Blog

One shocking figure came from Adobe’s senior director of product management, Zeke Koch. He said that of all the downloads of Adobe DPS-powered magazines, a grand total of 3% were on Android. 3%. Not 30%. 3%.  That suggests that the figures that show that Android users browse the web less than iOS users – and buy fewer apps – apply just as much to magazine tablets. Working on the assumption that the Kindle Fire accounts for the majority of magazine sales, the rest of the ecosystem is essentially dead to publishers right now.

3% of all Adobe produced Magazines are downloaded on Android…
